Default Lightbulbs from master power window switch (2006)

Hi guys, i wanted to see if you could help me. My hummer's master power window switch's lights burned out. The car dealer wants $185 for the whole assembly! Since everything else works, i only want to replace the burned out lights. Does anyone know where i can get just the lights? Can someone tell me the part number for the lamps? Is this the kind of electronic part i can buy from DigiKey or Newark? I appreciate your help. Thanks!!!

Below is the part number of the master power window switch. I only need the lamps.

Use the search function for "window switch lights" or "temp control *****" for a discussion on what bulbs to use in those small places. They are very small in size and amps if I remember correctly. You may want to pull the switch out and take the bulb to radio shack or somewhere. It is going to require some very fine solder work. There were also some issues with finding the right color of bulb.

It's a fairly common problem. You may also keep your eyes peeled on ebay for one.

GM Parts Direct: Your direct source for Genuine GM Parts Part is $136 here. They usually have just about the lowest prices for factory parts

mine did same thing I replaced them with led bulbs really easy can get different colors I can't remember website but I found info off of 355nation.net you have to remember LEDs only work one way, so if you put them in and they do not work pull them out and turn them 180 degrees. they work great

I believe you are looking for these:
Light Bulbs for 2005- 2010 HUMMER H3 Heater Climate Control A/C Backlight 037495768993 AUTO AUTOMOTIVE CAR BULB LAMP INCANDESCENT BULB NIGHT TIME TEMPERATURE VENT SWITCH DASH UNIT PART FAN HEAT HVAC TEMP BUTTONS BACK PANEL ILLUMINATION LAMP NOT LED A

I can confirm from personal experience that these bulbs are the exact match to the bulbs found in the AC/Heater control ***** that are notorious for burning out. There are several threads here discussing them. They lock into place by rotating them after dropping them in.

I distinctly remember reading a post (I believe the same one discussing the AC/Heater control *****) that stated the bulbs in the ***** are the same exact bulbs found in the window switches.

Let us know how they turn out and don't forget to snap a couple pictures along the way to post here. Thanks.

HI!
do you know that the light bulbs on driver side windows switch/paddle are different from the passenger side and rear sides?
I already replaced the driver side, the passenger side bulb is different.
What the type of this bulb? any code for replacement?
Thanks for helping,
Lorenzo

Hello........... hello................. you dug up and almost TEN YEAR OLD Thread to tack on a question to people that are LONG GONE, no longer here to answer it. AVOID doing that!!! Ask your own NEW Question in a NEW Thread. Or, better yet, do a search, then ask a new question.
