Leaking sunroof not only will kill BCM, but also will rust out floor.
While crawling under the car I spotted cracks in the body where front passenger feet should be.
I poked it with hand and it broke loose

Removing carpet damage was not immediately visible:




Taking off this heat/whatever isolation was pain in the ***(probably there is easy way to do it).

A nice hole, straight to the exhaust pipe to warm feet:


Possibly biggest factor was the heat insulator that trapped moisture in there and it could not evaporate + heat and micro cracks in pain = rust heaven.

Next: grind/cut and wield it back together, paint, smear something like fluid film on it and put heat shield back again.
Without heat shielding that place gets hot.

I wonder if I can wrap heat shield(cloth) directly around exhaust.

 

On the plus side during a road trip you could take a leak out of that hole
