Hi All,

I am looking at a used H3 that I want to buy and everything seems to have checked out okay besides one thing. The current key fob that comes with the vehical doesn't work. I also noticed that the content anti-theft light is on for the dash.

Just curious if anyone knows it his is normal behavior if it doesn't detect a keyfob or something, or is it unrelated and could mean some issues with my anti-theft system?

Another thing I noticed is that the lights (including this dash light) seem to blink on and off every 1 to 2 minutes. This also includes the blinkers. Could this also possibly be related, or is this indicative of some electrical issue?

I did search pretty hard before posting this, but if someone else has already posted about it my apologies.

and by blinking I also mean all interior lighting as well at the same time. Only everyone couple of minutes though. Seems really odd.

 

Year/Miles??? Does it have a sunroof? Has the passenger floor ever got wet?

 

X2 , what he said above. Also, still have the factory battery cable connectors? If so, get rid of them.

There was some pretty bad washer fluid leaking in the back left panel. (Rear washer hose leaking) that I am airing out. For the short term I put a cap on that pipe and the tank and also took out the pump and wiper motor fuses for the back.

Pretty much the entire back liner was soaked (under the plastic top peice)

Also noted that it isn't just the lights, its the heater / headlists / pretty much everything will blip.
