Default Jerry Can rear mount?

Yes I've searched old threads and couldn't find anything recent, but would welcome a link or resource to a new one if you have one.

I'd like a resource to mount 5 gal Jerry can to the side of the stock spare tire mount on my H3. Something like this would be nice, either from or description on how you built/mounted one if you did a custom.

Time has slipped into the future lol! Rotopax ....

Seriously, that is cool if you want it but a low profile modern solution is also available.

Here is a link to a thread about Jerry can and other mounts.

Thanks, yeah I read that thread. The only mount that was interesting was the Rotopax, but I already have a 5 gallon Jerry can and like the idea of it all being held in one can instead of multiple, smaller packs.

Your ideas are either obstructing rear view or tail lights. Utilize the spare mount.

There's plenty of room on the right side for a Jerry can without obstructing the taillight.

What about getting to the door handle?

Just offered a option! I don't have a problem with 70+ cubic feet of space available in my cargo area.

I'm going to have to make some sort of bracketry to mount the can so it sits lengthwise so as to clear taillight, and stands off from the handle a tad bit.
