Default Jackscrew

I have an easy one. I'm replacing the oil pump and the manual has the part about using two screws as Jack screws to separate the front engine cover. I have no idea how that works. I see myself stripping the cover. How do I use the screws to separate the front cover?

I found the proper spots to locate the screws.

Install 2 bolts into any of the threaded holes to act as jack screws and tighten evenly in order to separate the engine front cover from the engine block.

I was trying to get the OP to do that. I recall when you posted a thread asking people to complete there threads with a conclusion so others can fine an answer if they look it up, which is a good idea every time.

Common sense and a working eye leads you to the conclusion.
