So for about 2 years now this has been getting worse where I go to start the H3 and it doesn't work and I have to wait a bit. I took it to the dealer about 2 years ago and they said they couldn't replicate the problem. I took it a year ago and they still couldn't do it so I bought a drone auto start system it was still hit or miss but then about a month ago it got so bad I took it to the dealer and the put in a new ignition housing. Now it only starts with auto start and I get alerts that the battery health is low. I took it back to the dealer and they want to take off the auto start and charge me $430 to do it just to diagnose the issue. Not sure what to do at this point. I am not very DYI so any tips or places to look would be appreciated.

 

Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? Are you seeing the passlock light illuminate on the dash?

Have you cleaned your ignition switch w/ CRC Electronic Cleaner?

 

ok so after it went to the third place they have discovered that there is no current coming from the BCM to the ignition. The BCM is being replaced and I am putting in the Odyssey battery the HUMMERZ recommended and the stinger terminals that DOC recommended. Hopefully this will make me all good.

 

So the with the new body control module I can't use the auto start or it will lock up the hummer. I am taking it back to installer to reprogram remote. Hope it works!
