Has anyone heard of electrical problems with H3? Thinking about buying second H3 with an electrical problem! How hard is this to fix and how much?!

Yes H2 and 3's are susceptible to electrical problems and how hard to fix or cost of the repair is as much a mistery as the descritpion of the problem. probably same odds as a lottery tickets chances to win. being someone selling one with a known and disclosed problem is a good indication its not going to be an easy cheap fix and money has already been spent and will need more.

Not hard to fix. The most it would cost, is the amount you paid for the H3.

thanks Sam!
good advice! I have a good mechanic but I知 not tooo familiar with electrical issues and how difficult it is to fix. Seller said it痴 been to shop and they couldn稚 figure it out so I知 assuming it痴 a deep rooted issue.

they tend to leak water inside which can cause havoc on modules especially the BCM. there is also the passlock and ignition issue that tend to arise at inopportune times. engine harness issues as well as bad body grounds and bad battery connectors. engine bay fuse box can also get corroded internally. so really need to ask more information of what the issues are and see if it is worth your investment. at the end of it you most likely could have invested (for the cost of the repairs and the money you will put into the swear jar as you will need a big one) into buying a better maintained vehicle.

bronxteck,
thanks for the input! Definitely sounds like it could be a number of things. That swear jar is pretty big and has enough money in it from my first go around! Love my baby though. I値l never go back!
