Turns out it was low oil and needs engine flush due to sludge buildup I took it to GM they said I need to run sum engine flush additive at idle 10 mins then do full oil change and believe the screens from old vvt solenoid are still in so I will give you guys update once completed

Also I found on GM vehicles have a failsafe when engine is low on oil it will kill the engine to prevent internal damage

 

Wow. No one has asked about OEM battery terminals.

Could be as simple as a vacuum leak. When stopped you may be getting to much air to the air-fuel mixture causing a stall.while when on the gas it will run fine.

 

Soo I just got done doing a engine flush and putting new oil and oil filter in and now I have this chugging at idle and truck is idling at 164 rpm I have looked at air filter it was halfway off I put it back on and checked manifold it's on tight also looked at airbox and pcv hose has cracks but I'm not sure if that's the culprit throttle body is still brand new on inside and outside plate now I'm getting a misfire on cylinder 3 checked coil those are all new spark plugs are fairly new unless the 1 on 3 is just a bad spark plug it's running alot longer but seems its starving for air and eventually stalls at about 15 mins of idle I timed it

 

Start over, clean maf and throttle body. All that debris that gets into the air box, passed through to your engine.

 

So I cleaned up my mass airflow sensor it helped the idle but I'm still stalling it seems to be oil pressure sensor is bad and the ECU is cutting off fuel pump cause it shows oil light then low oil pressure at stops intermittent I have did engine flush and full oil change no rough idle anymore just stalls intermittently

 

Did you check the condition of the engine oil since the flush? If still clean swap the ops!

 

My 09 alpha t did the same thing, I cleaned the maf and throttle body (take them off when you do it) and it seemed to have fixed it. Hasn’t done it since

 

Still having a stall issue I cleaned mass airflow sensor replaced oil pressure sensor I'm out of ideas to fix the issue
