When I open the drivers door, to get out from driving, it doesn't register. This allows the radio to continue to play. At night when you open the door, to get into the vehicle, the lights don't come on. What could be the issue? Every other door works fine....any tips??

 

Replace the rubber dome light switch in the door jam, very easy and you can buy them on ebay.

It does if the reason it is staying on is because the door jam switch is bad (the BCM cannot tell that the door has been opened to command radio off).

However, if your interior lights come on/go off when the door is opened/closed, then that is likely not it because the BCM is receiving the door signal to command lights on/off.
Temporarily swap a switch from another door and see what that does to test it.
