This thread is OLD. You should have just asked your question in a new thread and avoid digging up Old Dogs to tack on a question.

What Year is your truck? Ask your Trans builder your question, maybe they screwed up.

Good point. Probably should've started a new one. I'll do that next time. Cheers

Cheers for the reply Humher1313.
That's a bit of a pain. I may have located my problem tho. Was talking to a bloke last night about the issue and he had the same problems with his VW, after a lot of dead ends he found that his wiring was bad. I pulled my TCM out this morning and noticed that the VIN doesn't match, so obviously the fella I bought it off had already wacked a 2nd hand one in. Had a look at the plug and it looks like he's wired it up himself with a bit of a zip tie fix too add to the professional job he did. I'll take it into my auto sparky this week and get him to fix the wiring. Fingers crossed it is the fix. The guys at Coastline Automatics in Narang done an awesome job on the rebuild, no questions asked and we're more than helpful. Maybe give them a yell about your crank angle sensor.
What solenoids did you replace? I might do the same just to be on the safe side.
