Default H3 Wheels

Hello all,

It's sure hard to understand what will, or will not fit as far as wheels for the H3. I have the typical chrome flaking issue, and not much I can do with them. Even the places that refinish wheels don't want to take on these.
I am selling my 2006 H3, and it's in great shape, other than the wheels. So I need to buy something reasonable (used), to make it decent to sell. As much as I love my Hummer, I now have a little GMC truck that is perfect for everything I do.
I know the specs on the OEM wheels, but translating that to others is not clear, or easy. I think the biggest issue is the odd offset of 38mm. Any wheel manufacturer seems to tell me that I have only 1 or 2 options because of that, and it's crazy expensive. I will attach an add that says the rims will fit 2006-2010 H3 Hummers, but I have a feeling they don't. Can anyone verify or deny that for sure ? And can you list other vehicles or sizes of rims that will fit. I am not interested in 20" rims either, just simple economic minded ones please. Thanks in advance...I see this guy has now removed the H3 listing of vehicles that these will fit.

Sell it with what is on it. It is worth more with factory wheels, chipped, pealed or corroded with funky aftermarket stuff that the buyer will not want anyway. I won't buy anything used unless it has factory wheels.

BTW, the biggest issue with replacement wheels is.... H3s use Hub Centric Wheels.

Stock OEM 16" diameter wheel is 7.5" wide, 6x5.5"(6x139.7mm) lug pattern, 101 mm center bore, offset is 30mm, and back spacing is 5.5".

When choosing new wheels you need:
1) 6x5.5" lug pattern
2) 101 mm minimum center bore. (H3's are HUB centric, meaning that the wheels locate on the hub center, which is 100 mm, so you can't go too large on the center bore either)
3) 5.5" MAX backspace, less backspace will make tires stick out more as will wider wheels.

IGNORE offset, as it changes with wheel width. It's not an important number.
