I have a 09 H3, Traction Failed, Service Stabilitrak came up on the dash. It’s shifting hard out of first gear, the locks don’t unlock when in park and don’t lock when in gear, also sometimes I have to pull the cover off to and push the button under the gear shift to get it out of gear when this happens.
I have got the mode switch replaced that didn’t fix it. I took it to the dealership they told me I needed a new transmission which I know not true. I took it to a shop and they thought they had fix it but they haven’t. I paid them 460.00 the dealer 100.00 for nothing. I paid 259.00 to replace the mode switch.
I’m tired at this point. If someone is having or have had the same problem and got it fix. Please share with me.

Are you still using the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal connectors? If so, hack off and replace with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand. You have an electrical problem and the OEM terminals are absolute JUNK know to cause all kinds off issues including Traction Failed SVC StabliTrack messages in the DIC.

When you ask any questions, miles and details about any recent work done just before your problem started would be helpful.
