You are welcome. Couple customers wanted them, I was always gonna get to them..............now it is a done deal. Mialed some out to all customers.

All the new orders have them included in the box. Sure some people will toss them, give to their kids? but.............others wanted them for their truck, tool box, or to put them on the AirDoc Intake pipe itself.

They are indoor outdoor mylar films reverse printed and laminated.....pretty durable.

If anybody uses them up and needs more, just email us at info@airdocintakes.comand we'll send you another set.

Yes you do have the valve cover emission hose, but Volant does not replace the throttle body resonator box. The valve cover breather hose connects to the bottom rear of that box, our system just connects to that stock hose once the box is removed. Now why anyone would go to all the trouble to replace everything else, and leave the restrictive resonator box in the loop is beyond me. Here is a pic of the Volant intake so you can see that big old honkin resonator box is still in place??

I just got one of these in the mail and beforeI put it on need to know if it will still fit ok with a Airaid throttle body spacer installed. Going to get one of those to put on at the same time if it will.
Thanks.

My official answer is NO, it will not fit.
However, we have 2-3 customers with the H367 kit (for the 2006/07s) that do have an Airad TB spacer installed with that AirDoc model. I have never personally done or seenit with the 2008 I5?

I would ask why a TB spacer? Search the H3 forums here, and you will see there is absolutely no measurable improvement on a dyno, and even the manufacturer responded to a member's email confirming that they cannot document it does anything, but in "theory" it may help. You also cannot measure an improvement in mileage with just a TB spacer. I know people keep buying them, but I cannot figure out why?

Assuming you have the same luck asthose other customers that have the Airaid TB spacer AirDoc combo, maybe post a pic here too so we can check it out. Thanks and I sincerely hope that you can run both if that is your personal preference.

Ok, thanks for the info. I was going to put it on because the performance shop guy doing the new exhaust and intake install for me had said it helped when I asked about it. I just did some online research and the verdict was rather mixed. Mostly it said that a good filter like my K&N and a better intake like yours would do just as much. Guess I should do more homework first. I called and canx the order and will do without and save myself $110.

Got mine last week and installed...and all I can say is WOW! The hesitation when cruising along about 40 mph is gone! Truck feels much more responsive. I also travel from Chicago to Grand Rapids Mi. a couple times a week and with the new intake I averaged 16.7 miles mpg up from 15.1! And that's cruisin at 80 mph. Also have Gibson exhaust installed. Thanks Doc![sm=groupwave.gif][/align]

All I can say is WOW what a difference. I had my Magnaflow and Doc's intake installed today and I thought they gave me back someone else's truck. Can't believe how much better it runs. I don't think I'll see much improvement in MPG for a little while, can't keep my foot out of it cause it just feels and sounds sogood. Thanks for a great product.

My check engine light came on today and i was wondering if having your intake put on a little over a week ago would do anything to cause that? I also had the cat back exhaust put on at the same time. Went on a trip and put about 1100 miles on since then and no issues till this morning. Any ideas?

Anything is theoretically possible, but I highly doubt it is related to the intake itself. (I say that only because of the # of units sold worldwide and no complaints of any kind). You say you "had it put on" ?? by someone?? We have no control over third parties and can only assume they followed the instructions for a correct install. I can say that if there is a CEL after installing any brand intake, 99.9% of the time it is because of an air leak or MAF issue/connection.

As far as our intake, please check that allthe clamps are snug (they do not need to be crushed tight, just firmly snug to make a good seal), and that your MAF is properly connected/plug snapped all the way in place. Check that the valve cover breather hose is firmly in place over the port connector off of the engine valve cover. Open up the Air Filter Box and make sure the airfilter is still connected to the flange (K&Ns clamp on). You could also start the engine and listen for any obvious air leaks, but those are hard to hear unless they are pretty significant. If it was the Intake, or the CAT back for that matter, I would expect a CEL quicker than 1100 miles after install.

Please run a diagnostic on it to see what the code is for and definitely let me know. Just in case you have a oiled filter issue, if after you get a diagnosis of the CEL code anything MAF related, get a can of CRC MAF Sensor Cleaner at the auto parts store, follow the instructions and spray the MAF to clean off any residue and you should be good. If you have any further questions, please feel free to email us at info@airdocintakes.com

Thanks.
