I have a hummer h3 2006 3.5 luxury, there is a problem with the front differential like ( noise, Difficulty round wheel ) and at the last month I replaced two gearsbox because they have cracked " The mechanic told me crack sprouted from the front difeerential" .
I need your help to fix this problem, Can I replace just the Ring and Pinion for fixing, or I have to replace complete front differential ?
( How can buy a used parts "front diferebtial with ships" there no one on Ebay")

It depends on what is wrong with the front differential.
If it is only the R&P I would just replace them. Intermediate shaft, replace it and the R&P.
Scared or cracked case, replace the differential.

Before all of that I would make sure your transfer case is not stuck in 4HI Lock. That would cause the front differential to

 

I was seeing at this post and I think I have a very similar problem.
let me explain
more than a year ago my Hummer started to do some kind of noise like a strong clamp at moments in the front part,
my crossbar and passenger CV axle were replaced, after few days it did it again, form moments it gout stuck when you tried to turn slowly going back, not in forward driving
I went from Miami to Sarasota and suddenly it was able to move or not, it decided when to do it, ....I know is funny but it's the truth
in one of those moments I toke the car to a shop close by, and they said the front differential need to be rebuilt, they did it and also replace the passenger CV axle again, and now the car always move but it decides again, this time when to stuck and makes the same noise where everything started
I left the car in Sarasota in front of my house for weeks, and some day I drove it back to Miami, the car barely move from that day like a year ago,
what do you think I should do?
a mechanic said probably the front diff need some adjustment, other said the problem could be the transfer case, etc, etc, etc, but nobody says I'm able to do it.
I wish to replace the front differential for a used from ebay, is that a good idea?
