My 2007 H3 Engine light and Battery(voltage) light are illuminated. My mechanic tells me its a bad amp probe per the battery cable.
Its been diagnosed as the entire Cable Assembly needing replacement.

Has anyone installed this “at home”? Im having trouble locating instructions. The part alone, (the assembly) costs close to 200$.

 

Most likely a short, post the codes.

 

I will pull codes again when I pick it up on Monday. I had the H3 in shop for full front differential replacement/cv axles(not cheap)
*Regarding the battery cable harness, this was the initial Diag.(Below)
Before the repair, every panel cluster warning light was on. After the repair of the electrical issues within the motor and replacement of the differential/cv axles, now only the check engine and battery light indicators remain.

DIAGNOSTICS, FOUND THE ENGINE WIRING HARNESS, MULTIPLE WIRES IN LOOM TO BE BURNED UP, NOT MAKING CONNECTION AND NEEDING TO BE RE-WIRED, SOLDERED, PROTECTED AND REINSTALLED, FOUND ABS SPEEDS SENSOR WIRING TO BE CUT/CHAFFED, REPAIR WIRING WITH SOLDER, AND PROTECTED REPAIR, TESTED SYSTEM, SYSTEM OPERATES AS DESIGNED.
