Any instruction on how to replace the drivers side rear window regulator?

When I hit the button to open the rear window, the window just slammed straight down?

Now the window will not go up or down , even though I hear the window motor-I'm thinking the window got off track from the window regulator...

 

the drive cable might have snapped.

 

Probably not the answer your looking for. But if it was me I’d just go to your local auto glass shop and have them pull the door panel and see if they can put it back on track, or see what came loose. They have all the right tools to not break tabs or clips, and typically have clips in stock if one does break.

Years ago my wife had a Acura. Window motor quit working, and I guess this was a known issue for this model. I ordered the motor and went to a local glass shop, They popped off the panel, switched out the motor and we were done in a hour. I don’t remember the actual cost, but it was less than a $100.

Another option is a local stereo shop can pop the door panel off and check inside for you too.

 

Review any thread or online info on how to remove the door panel (like for speaker replacement), the rest is right in front of you with the panel off.
