Anyone have any direct experience with aftermarket grills for the H3? New OEM non-chrome are NLA.

Regarding aftermarket, there seems to be several to choose from but the prices vary from $250 to $650 on ebay (most all with free shipping)

Nowadays, "you get what you pay for" isn't necessarily true.

Btw, this ebay seller claims to have OEM, but some of the reviews have me questioning...

You can get H3 OEM grilles all over. Ebay, car-part.com, suppliers, and the good old local pick n pulls. Get a chrome grill, scuff it up and paint it any way you want, it's just plastic.

"Reviews" are worth what you pay for them. Some people can't change a light bulb and would not know OEM from Flubber.

 

Thanks, I was hoping to find a new one since my H3 is in for repair, paid by my insurance company. The body shop told me this morning that they are unable to source a new grill, OEM or aftermarket. Sounded odd to me.

But I have a feeling that a good used grill is better than any aftermarket one.
