Front Bumper cutouts on the far left and right of the Bumper
Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Front Bumper cutouts on the far left and right of the Bumper
What are the cutouts on the front bumper...Not the Center on, but the 2 that are on the ends under the turn signal. Does anyone know what style and brand of lights i could mount there?
Sorry, but I don't buy the air passage comment. Not that large of an area.
Doesn't anyone make a light to fit there? Trying to DIY something would mean making a housing, in the back,
to keep rocks, water, and such, from being thrown into it, from the tires.
I'd like to figure out a way to make these lights act as DRLs.
The cutout on the right side, under passenger side turn signal is the air inlet for the airbox. I wouldn't block it unless you've installed a snorkel. I'm assuming at this point you have not installed a snorkel.

Irrelevant to intake air, and the opening in question is below the outer fender liner. The air intake system pulls from in between the inner fender and outer fender liner, which means air can come from top, bottom, rear, front or anywhere like around the headlight.

BA Winch Bumper, no outer holes.
NO outer holes. Great spot for more lights.
BTW, Thanks, Doc. I didn't think those had anything to do with intake air.
However, quick question. How much room is there, between the opening in that snorkel and the fender liner? Doesn't look like much. Unless, it sits above the top of the fender liner?
The 2019 Jeep Wranglers have moved their fog lights from the center of the front bumper to a cutout similar to what the H3 has. Maybe that's somewhat of a starting point, not that I would ever want to promote Jeep ideas over Hummer products.....

The pic is from below looking up, you might be referring to the fender lip. There isn't anything near the intake inlet. Basically pulls from a big empty box that is the space in behind the fender.
