External regulator h3 help
Hello all, I am new to the forum and hope you all can help me. I have replaced my stock alternator with a h/o alternator that is externally regulated. that being said i have no use for the 2 pin field connection that would normally be plugged into the factory alt. while the only problem is my pcm is looking for a charging system that is no longer connected. Does anyone know how i can bypass that 2 pin connector so the pcm thinks i have a working alternator. thank you in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I'll check out irragi . So you have got to send me some pics of the system. 155db in a h3, I've got to see it.

It's getting a rebuild atm so it's in pieces but, it had 6 18s (crossfire with psi recones) 6 rf t2500bds, 15 XS d3100s, d3400 under the hood, Excessive amperage h/o alt, custom doors/pillars.
It was setup mainly for SPL but still sounded good on music.

MOVED out of the "do not post in the archive only section" to the model specific section.
The easy way is to get an OEM alternator (used one would be fine) and have it rebuilt to your specs (ie output) locally, then swap that out for the stock original.
