What is CAI? Check engine light has been on since I bought it. I get three pages of codes.

So…I’ve cleaned the TB and the MAS and still have the surging issue. Air filter is clean so I don’t think the CAI is a problem. I don’t have a recent list of codes and I don’t own a code reader so I can’t give you any codes

look for intake leaks and check the torque on your intake manifold bolts.

I appreciate everyone’s assistance here but I must say again… the surging only happens when the A/C is running. There is no surging with the A/C off. This leads me to believe that it is a problem with the A/C. Going down a rabbit hole and checking or replacing every sensor, hose connection can be costly and time consuming. I wish I still had my 68 Chevelle without all the BS computers.

You are driving a 16 year old vehicle and have no scanner? Do you think that is a good plan?

Can't help if you do not provide codes. Good luck.

Your engine can't run an AC compressor without surging? It's weak! Easy to restore engine compression de-carbon.
