Being that your in the Frequently asked Questions area didnt even know you were looking for some help.
That being said.... Id start with verifying you have a solid, non corroded ground and +12.9v at your fuse box. Then check to make certain your getting power to the connection at your starter. Make certain that ground behind your air box is clean, tight and physically inspected...not just visually. Then head to the grounds nearest the EBCM ABS area and check the same applies. DON'T just visually inspect. You need to undo the grounds clean, check each one separately and then test with dvm set to continuity or ohms.

It is a 2008 H3 Alpha --- 55,520 miles.
I've read, through this forum, that I should check the DLIS fuse...excuse the ignorance... I'm not locating a DLIS fuse. Is it named something else ?
you probably need to put a test light on the starter solenoid as you crank. the signal wire coming from the ignition key at the starter if it lights up then your starter is toast if it does not then you need to verify and make sure the transmission range selector on the transmission (neutral switch) is in either park or neutral. the shift bushings do fail over time and it might be in limbo or wrong gear. last thing to check is if it has an aftermarket alarm or cut off switch or GPS tracker with an imobilizer.and sorting whatever can of worms that has introduced.
