08 ecm and tcm
Hey guys I’m a newbie here so take it easy! Does anyone have knowledge on ecm data code language? I have an 06 hummer h3 I put a 4.8l with 07 wiring harness 58x timing i had the e67 ecm calibrated to 08 h3 5.3l alpha vin “L” with my 06 vin# programed. The 06 had a pcm and I went to ecm with t42 tcm. Both years used class 2 serial data only difference is the 08 added high spd data bus only to communicate with the tcm I wired everything correctly even added the battery control module and added the bus+ and - to data link connector with data link resistor in between dlc and tcm.
All that said is it possible for the body control module and cluster to get along with the new added module family???. Or is there gm pita engineering to stop this I will put the data line circuit diagrams below thanks guys have a good day!
