Hey guy,
So my 2006 H3 driver side door after many swings, is starting to leave some rub on the bottom door sill.

Anyone done anything to add some lift. Starting to get some smudge on the rub area.

I changed the hinges. Dorman brand worked for me, which is good, because that's all I could find. Work was a bit more than just "changing parts", as the pin is pressed into the hinge. You can use a hammer and punch, however.

The Dorman solution looks good.

 

I've got a set of real oem hinges in the basement on my shelf.

 

Back in the old days, a sagging door was fixed by opening it up, then lifting the door up as hard a you could lift!
