Well, its been two months issue free and now its begun.

Ive read about resetting it, but im skeptical because its not on constantly. Ive read it could be wiring rubbing the seat frame, but is that just for the passenger side? Ive also read people taking the car in numerous times only t have it reoccur or pay $600 for an airbag. Well, im not playing that game, ill drive it with it on in that case, unless anyone has addressed this with some simple fix or is there any part of the wiring I should check out?

Also, cant be the fuse because its on and off correct?

Any ideas are appreciated. I wish I could just snip a wire but im sure its not that simple. I dont need an airbag and if it just deploys out of nowhere (highly doubt this would ever happen sounds more like a scare tactic) thats GM's problem.

 

This went on for two days...but then last night I found something on the internet saying you could simply start the engine, push the parking brake down completely, push the brake down completely....hold it awhile, then release both. I did this a couple times last night (even though the light wasnt on) and today it didnt happen once on the way to work or back during 40 mins of driving. Coincidance? Maybe?
