You H3 is primarily controlled by the BCM and PCM, which rely upon rock solid consistent voltage to operate properly with reliability. Even minute fluctuations will cause issues with the flashed based memory in those modules and others.....

The poor connection is NOT on the terminal, but at the wire on those junk connectors, the two bolts on the crappy white metal clamp with the curve over the battery cables.

Look at these for comparison... Stinger and others place the clean cable end in a retention hole with Allen screw to tightly clamp them in place. The stereo competition guys use them in monstrous multi Battery set ups.


If you can crimp and solder a ring on the cable ends...

I really like the www.knukonceptz.com terminals NMH3 pointed to, and they are inexpensive. (I've never used them, but they look impressive.)

Worth every penny! I got mine under $30usd total for both terminals 14 years ago & still to this day never had an issue with voltage drop!
