Default Davico direct fit converters for 5.3 alpha

At 207000 Mike's the converters failed the backpressure test so I got the davico direct fit for both sides and replaced all O2s fit and ran great till 385 miles later left side started rattling inside rear converter I called davico he 1st blamed O2 sensors till I said they were new then asked if damaged then said overheated just to let everyone know they will not accept any responsibility for thier product wasted time filling out the warranty cards ? As a ASE mechanic I will just replace with a universal and not recommend them for not standing behind thier product just a heads up for everyone h3 ran fine before, cats were just clogged 420 430 codes and runs fine now just with a annoying rattling sound

IMHONever heard of davico converters. I'm always cautious when giving product reviews these days. Might I recommend an " just my humble opinion" statement for your post.

Sorry I don't sugar coat anything definitely not a opinion but a fact if anyone wishes to purchase Davico fine so be it and good luck with that just letting everyone know the risks 385 miles then a rattling sound inside the converter that's unexcusable and most likely defective product which happens? you would think they would do something I'm not telling anyone to not buy or boycot them just BEWARE of the warrany risks

Why were the original Cats clogged? Excessive unburnt fuel, oil passed the rings…. ? How long before the replacements?

If, I say IF, there is a problem fouling the cats, replacing cats does not solve the problem. Food for thought.

Thanks for the review.

207000 Mile's on original cats failed the pressure test so seen these online replaced for possibly 207000 more miles as a certified mechanic I keep my alpha nice and tuned no lights on I called explained without attitude and he consistently had excuses and if a everyday mechanic explains procedures and tests done how would any other citizen be done think about it runs great no lights on 385 miles later rattle inside converter how is that not warranty?
