Default Dash lights

Hi everyone, Im new to the forum and a fairy new Hummer h3 owner. I am having an issue with a few things, to start my dash lights randomly don't light up, if I turn the key off and on enough times I will get them to come on. The there are times they work fine, seems to act up if I say move the switch from auto to manual lights. Im not sure if this is related but I have no door chrimes, if i open the door with the key in or have the headlights on and open the door no noise. Any ideas? I was thinking maybe a bad bcm?

I'd have to say 95% of electrical problems come down to one of three things: Crappy O.E.M. battery terminals, BCM problems and chaffed wires at the rear frame/bumper.

I'll add door switches, grounds and main cluster.

I agree with that... possibly 92.37%, but close enough. The BCM issue is highly related to... another 92.37%...... plugged sunroof drains causing a leak into the passenger side cabin A pillar, down onto the BCM and its harness.

Does your H3 have a sunroof, if so, has the carpet been wet. Do you still have the crappy OEM Battery Terminal Connectors?

I do have a sunroof and the other day water came in on the driver side and the floor is wet on the drivers side not the pass side. I have to check to see what terminals but pretty sure they are original.

Based on THAT, I'd say it's pretty certain your BCM is the problem source.

I thought Id give a little update see what everyone thinks. I checked to see what battery terminals I have and yes I do have the oems, I decided to clean them till I get to the store and pick up new ones, anyways they weren't to bad but after i put them back on now the dash lights wont come on, the drivers side window wont go down and now the door locks don't work...BCM?
