Default code p0449

https://www.hummerforums.com/forum/h...e-valve-42601/

ive searched the threads to find anything recent on this code but last i seen was from january....
so here's to a new thread.
so here's what i have, 2006 hummer h3 161,122 miles
the only code i am reading is the p0449 evaporations code
but my vehicle continues to go in and out of "reduced power" "traction failed"
the reduced power seems to occur more often in the morning that in the evenings, its not cold yet here in the mornings typically 60 degrees when i start it up and 80-85 in the eveining
its not making sence as to why it will randomly kick into reduced power more often in the mornings than later in the day?
also the check engine light stays on, it is not an intermittent lite
has anyone had these two issues pertaining to each other?
any help is greatly appreciated
thanks
-Cole

Get a better scanner! In the meantime, replace the vent valve.

Get a better scanner! Then you will find more codes related to your issue.

Wait........................... no one mentioned.........................

Do you still have the crappy azzed OEM Battery Terminal Connectors? If so, hack them off and replace with a quality aftermarket set like Stingers or your favorite brand. Inconsistent poor battery connections can cause reduced power and traction failed messages, as can a bad connection at the Throttle Body or Accelerator pedal and T Case shift actuator respectively.
