Just got a new tranny, oil change and tune up. My dash says change oil /service TPM.Any idea why? Is this a common issue?

Whoever changed your oil failed to reset the OLMS. Common that service techs do not bother with those pesky details.

KOEO (Key On Engine Off) push the accelerator pedal 5 times to the floor fast = reset.

That's interesting; never tried that method. Here's what my manual says:

To reset the Engine Oil Life system:
1. With the engine off, turn the ignition to ON/RUN.
2. Press and release the stem in the lower center
of the instrument cluster until the OIL LIFE
message is displayed.
3. Once the alternating OIL LIFE and RESET
messages appear, press and hold the stem
until several beeps sound. This confirms that the oil
life system has been reset.
4. Turn the key to LOCK/OFF

The instrument cluster stem is the only way I can ever get mine to reset. Tried the pedal method a few times and it didn't work for me (possibly user error).

Should have added, do the KOEO pedal pushes with the doors closed.
