Default Cargo Door Hinges?

Has anyone replaced their Cargo Door Hinges? I'm having a hard time finding the parts.

I recently had my leaf springs replaced and the tech grabbed the bottom of the cargo door and wiggled it up and down and showed me it was loose. The bolts were all tightened, but I hear the rattle. He suggested looking at changing the hinges, said the internal pins may be worn.

Do I just need the two hinges? Anything else from anyone who has done this?

What are you hearing rattle??? Are you sure it is not the jack, lock latch, latch bumper, rear door trim?

You'd be the first person I know of to change the rear door hinges. Anything is possible, but they are pretty hefty hinges built to hold 35" tire plus the door.

Over bumps i hear a bit of a thud. So far, I:
  • Removed the back entirely
  • Changed the "V shaped" reciever/ door side catch piece
  • Looked at the door trim, all is in tact and in place and looks good.
The latch (upper metal hook type piece) looks ok. All screws tight and same for the actuator mechanism in door.

Changed the leaf springs too (they needed it, bushings all shot and leafs were worn). Shcosk 1/2 year old, Bilsteins on the rear and front.

Trying to nail down this pesky thud/ rattle over larger bumps. The leaf springs seem to have improved it.

When I was having the springs changed, the guy grabbed the bottom of the right side of the cargo door (open) and wiggled it up. He said there is play so probably hinges. Not sure if thats normal though as I'd imagine it wouldn't just be static solid or it would crack off.

Appreciate any advice!

You'd probably feel a sloppy hinge when you close it. If it closes nice, I doubt it's the hinges.
Hinge p/n for upper and lower is 15288342

I rolled some electrical tape around the black plastic and this helped eliminate the clunking and door shuts tight.

Do you still have the black plastic covers/spacers on #4?
Remove the entire #4 assembly, remove the plastic, put #4 back on the H3, use a 5lb sledge to slightly spread the "wings" out. Remove #4, put the plastic back on, put the entire assembled thing back on.
Also remove loosen the Torx bolts on #2 and see if you can move it toward the interior. You may get a little movement!

Check the rear door strut, on my vehicle I had an annoying noise come from the door while driving, thought it was something loose inside it Checked everything in and out and around until I decided to grab the strut and shake it, it was it. No idea why when the door was closed it was making noise but yeah.
