Hummer H3For the Hummer driver who wants the rugged look and off road capabilities of the Hummer, but in a smaller size and with a more fuel economy friendly engine.
Has this bushing disintegrated or is supposed to have a space like that? Trying to locate a loud banging noise I get when I'm turning on uneven surface. Part number would be great if needed. Thanks guys.
Maybe 🤔 start with year, miles, engine...
describe problem and possibly even a brief video.
Because Ill just be guessing at best what's wrong. But if loud banging check center bushing for trans, transfer, engine mount.
Differential bushing? Shock bushings? Upper shock rod hitting inner frame hole?

Recently aquired 2009 H3T 3.7L 108k miles 4-inch Rancho w/35s.
I checked the body mounts and they seem to be fine. I replaced the bump stops with oem as they were missing. The noise happens when turning on uneven surfaces like inclined driveways. It's one single metal to metal pop to the side I'm turning on. It doesnt do it if I'm turning extremely slow. I'll have to check the other bushings you mentioned, does the one pictured need to be replaced? Thanks for the reply.

It looks busted to me. Any evidence of metal-to-metal contact between the pieces?
That is the front axle passenger side mount? 15856421, which has been discontinued. There are custom after-market solutions, and check YouTube (or ask Hummerz for a video )
