I was looking at that snorkel last week and sent them an email with a question about it, but got no response.

Does anyone here have experience with the company, or with the specific version of snorkel they sell? I see H3 snorkels on eBay for less than half this price and would like to know if there is any difference (I know, Badland's website says of course their's is better - looking for 3rd party confirmation of that).

Probably could work. Seems pretty straight forward but never installed one b4. In 35 yrs. of driving never had a desire to make my vehicle water fording friendly. Its a drivers choice though.

I've dealt with Badland. He can be finicky with e-mail. Better off calling or using the chat.

Agreed. My H3 Alpha is a truck, not a boat. Some people just gotta. Now, if I knew of a place where you had to cross a three foot deep Sippi Hole as the only way in to a party with the naked hot tubbing Swedish Bikini Team, I might consider it.

99% they are for "looks" and IMHO they look ......... (being nice here) .... like I would never blow $$ on that over performance mods, tires, sound system upgrade, synthetic winch line and about 75-100 other things.

Different things for different peeps.
