Default Advice on a new to me H3. Trade or not

First of all I've never owned one but I have a friend who wants to trade me for my suburban. I have an 03 suburban and have a friend who owns an 07 H3. Is it worth the trade. Mine is in perfect condition. And his is actually decent condition. With about 220k on it my suburban only got about 165k. With the 5.3. Any advice will help on what to look for

I would suggest you swap trucks for a few days and see if that is still what you want to do. 07 H3s have the 3.7L I5 which is an improvement over the 3.5L 06.

You did not mention the trim level of either of the trucks, that would also play a roll. The H3 has a LOT more miles than your Burb.

my suburban is the Z71 as far as the H3 im not sure but the seats are leather heated like mine. But they're half electric half manual. Not sure if that's standard on them but the one thing that's not sitting well with me is that the H3 has the theft lock light on. But the car starts fine. Also the check engine light on but the port isn't working. So I can't pull the codes on it. And it doesn't have power off the line if that makes sense. My suburban which on paper heavier takes off great

do the cigaret lighter ports work? maybe a blown fuse that powers the OBD port? with the milage it might have clogged cats hence the lack of power? also if it is an inline 5 it will not have the power of your 5.3 but the h3 alpha should as it has a 5.3.

Do you think it might be relevant to know what you would be buying/trading on?

2007 H3 Models: Base, Adventure, Lux and Lux Off Road. They made lots of Base and Lux models which means no rear diff locker and higher range T Case with 32" Tires stock. Lux had leather, heated power seats, probably the Monsoon Stereo and usually a sunroof.
