Default 7" Round Headlight install?

Has anyone tried to use 7" round headlights in their H3? I was planning to do a retro fit but now the 7" round headlights are producing similar performance with LED technology. Instead of taking apart a headlight and going through all of that, I can purchase a 7" round headlight for not much more in total and get the look and performance I want in a manufactured sealed headlight. Has anyone tried or mounted them in their H3?

Also does anyone know where I can purchase just the Headlight assembly without the turn signals and bracket? I saw one set on ebay missed them and haven't seen another set without all the extra pieces I do not need. If I can avoid a $125+ purchase I will. I do not want to take apart my H3T without having a finished product.
Thanks All....
