Default 4 inch 06 colorado lift kit

So, would there be any reason as to why a 4 inch Chevy Colorado Lift Kit would/wouldn't work for an 06 h3?

None other than an 06 Colly is not an 06 H3 and they do not use the same steering knuckles, upper & lower control arms.......

So, a Colorado lift kit would probably not work on the H3 then, huh? If one would.... would you know which year? I just am so bummed that Rancho and Tuff Country stopped making lifts for this thing. I don't want to straight axle and custom IFS is an arm and a leg. Also, both SAS and custom IFS are not even offered for the H3 here at the custom fab shops I can find in the Pacific North West (Oregon and Washington) within 250 miles of Vancouver that I can find. But if I can find a kit, I know a shop that can do it. I would love to graduate from my t-bar lift, inch thick control arms, steering rack brace and bump stops one day.

THOR parts sells a kit that includes everything you need to do an SAS except the labor. The price varries significantly depending on what axle you use, shocks/springs/steering etc.... Mutaint here on the H3T subforum just did an SAS through them and the job looks great.

So, using a Colorado kit would be Mission Impossible?

I'm not too sure a straight axle would be the best move in the PNW. All shops I found that agreed to do it wanted 10k plus in labor. Even if I supplied all the parts. Which is super confusing how they came up with that number. I would still like to maintain the IFS in the front. I'm just getting sick of tightening up my steering rack support and and changing out my inch thick tie rods and bump stops every year. I really wish I could have gotten one of those Rancho lift kits. Or Tuff Country lifts.

I have a 2 inch t-bar lift and 1 inch body lift on 35s. I like the clearance but I don't trust it too much wheelin'. I'm just waiting for some other amazing company to come along and save us Hummer H3 owners again I love this thing too much to get rid of it. Let's just hope another company saves us all by making another sweet IFS lift for this thing.

I agree, the original suppliers(all discontinued) caused a lot of collateral damage.
