Nope, I towed my big block Chaparral 2330 with Tandem Axle trailer, considerably over capacity, more so over GVWR, with my 07 on 305 MTZs, BA Bumper, off road goodies, and performance mods all the way from south of Milwaukee to NE of Detroit.... appx 440 miles one way. Tucked in behind an 18 wheeler 70 MPH all the way (65 up hill, 75 down the other side). Cool day with little wind helped. I have Mods, but even a stocker on 32 or 33s can do what you are asking.

It does not hurt to add an external trans cooler..... but so far I have not done it. I figure when my Radiator starts leaking, I will incorporate an addition trans cooling loop in my custom built radiator. Adding a trans cooler at this point is way down on the list of things to get done in life.
