i guess make sure your fuse box harness plugs are clean and completely seated they can be a pain to seat fully. and also check the pcm plug for corrosion or bent pins. other option is the pcm is not functioning as it should. or there is something else thats causing the reduced power to trigger and the pcm is doing what it should.

 

I am going to get some pictures and a vid of the truck I dont see any bad pins.

 

OK so tore apart the whole dash and this is what I found I want to go back 100% stock I think the small black box is auto starter but any idea what this big white box is??? There is **** wired in all over to rule it all out I plan to cut it all out and return it back to OEM I just dont know what the white box is.

 

Ok I just found the white box on ebay turn out to be a really old auto starter. The Second black box is also a auto starter just newer why the hell there is 2 installed on top of eachother blows my mind a bit.....

Ok thanks lot of good info in that But think with my ignition codes im just going to rip everything out including the badly installed radio If i ever get it to run il have someone install a remote start the right way i guess.

 

For now im throwing in the towel its sitting on my trailer for sale If someone doesnt buy it for my asking price Il give it another go but for now I have spent way to much time on this god dam thing Honestly if it was possible to get I would change the whole engine harness but no one has em.

 

Ok welp no one wanted this pile of crap So im back working on it i removed all the autostarters ect returned the harness to factory still Nogo p1682 is still the only code Is it common at all for the ECM to fail and cause this code? I see remans for $200 pre programmed tired of throwing the parts cannon at it but tempted lol.
