They are bright enough and I chose these because they are DOT and SAE compliant. They have to be to pass the VA Annual Safety Inspection.

Different versions, but I also have the Eagle Eyes in the front and the IPCW's in the rear. Had them both for many years with no problem and, yes, they are plenty bright.
