Default 2008 Hummer h3 3.7

I need your all’s help. I’ve had the a/c off message on my dash. Did my research and have already changed out the thermostat, and engine coolant temp sensor. It did not fix the problem. I also had the codes cleared, and it worked for about 30 seconds, but when back to a/c off. What could be the problem? Thanks for your help.

What's the engine operating temp? What codes did you get? Coolant system full of Dex-cool? Check level under radiator cap when engine is @ambient temperature.

I’m not sure what the operating temp is, the gauge is not working. Also, I did not put in dex cool when I replaced the coolant after the thermostat replacement. I used advanced auto brand 50/50 coolant.

And the code was saying the engine coolant sensor. But I’ve already replaced it.

There's your problem. P0128. pcm will not allow a/c to run without a reading from the temp sensor, to prevent overheating, which could result in engine damage.
