Default 2007 H3 ignition cylinder and door lock question.

My 2007 H3 is giving me a lot of trouble with the ignition cylinder.
I've decided to change it out and replace the door lock also to keep the vehicle with one key.
The prices for a H3 cylinder and door locks on fleabay are expensive
I noticed the online pictures of the parts look very similar to a 2007 chevy colorado which is MUCH cheaper than the hummer parts. Does anyone know of they will interchange?
thanks

To replace the ignition switch your key does not need to be changed. The lock cylinder and switch are separate parts. I have never seen a bad lock cylinder on an H3, but plenty of ignition switches have worn out.

No the parts do not interchange, look at the part #s.

Sorry I should have been more clear. The cylinder/key is whats giving me trouble. AFAIK the replacement cylinder cannot be mated to the existing key.
thanks for confirming that the colorado parts will not interchange.
