Default 2006 hummer h3 fuel injectors

hello:
I have 2006 hummer H3- original engine with 321K. still runs great, not throwing any codes or engine lights. but, i have a distinct gas/fuel smell in the engine bay and inside the cab. the dealer wants to replace the fuel injectors. I dont see any leaks in the fuel lines. if I perform the work myself, its my understanding that I have to remove the throttle body and intake manifold. the bolts to the intake manifold look as if they are tough to access. any tricks to getting at them? thank you for any input.

Okay, I'll bite? How does the smell of fuel, cause the stealership to recommend injectors if NO leaks are visible??
Id recommend looking at other items 1st. Such as emmisions system, gaskets, etc.

Removing the front tire and wheel well housing will help a lot. Removing the battery should also help. The front top bolt will be difficult because of the alternator, so might want to remove it.

if you are smelling strong gas fumes from the driverside passenger door area. your fuel pump probably has a rust hole on it. and if that has a rot hole in it you should better inspect fuel and your brake lines as well. this is a very common issue on rust belt / north east car
