Default 2006 H3 - No gears problem (and approx price to fix please?)

2006 H3 - Runs great. No engine light on. Sounded like bad u joints to start with, would clunk putting it reverse. I then had to jam on my brakes once because of a silly driver, and the engine stalled. It started back up after about a minute, key not do anything for a while. When it started up, it was running very rough, limped it to the gas station. Turned it off, turn it back on and it ran fine. Now though I have three messages, no chk engine light : 1) Svc Sys Stab, 2) Traction failed, 3) Reduced power. Did have though sys stabilizer light (red, looks like car skidding). I kept driving it, those messages came off once for half an hour. When turned it off, started it back up, they came back on ever since. I kept driving it and took it everywhere because I needed a vehicle. Took a while to reach the speed but I could do 75 to 80 on the highway. 80 was max. I was doing 80 the other day, I heard a loud clunk and had to pull it into the side of the road. Tried reverse nothing. Tread forward gears nothing, it ran fine. Park I think would even roll. Is it worth fixing? Not sure what is the matter. It has 230,000 miles. In restrospect I obviously should have taken it to a shop sooner. Steve

Whether it is worth fixing depends upon what needs to be fixed. As in diagnosing your problem(s). Until you know what is wrong, no decisions to make.

When was the last time the transmission fluid and filter were changed? Did you check the transmission fluid level and color?
When was the last time the Transfer Case fluid was changed?

Reduced power can come on due to many possible reasons, one could be related to a failed ABS wheel sensor, a short in the Transfer Case encoder motor or its harness, and a bad Accelerator Pedal Sensor and/or bad Throttle Position Sensor. Get under it and do some looking.
