07 H3 No Rear Wheel Drive.
Hello, new guy here. I hope I’m posting my question in the right spot. I’ve looked around a lot but can’t find what I’m experiencing. In short, I only have front wheel drive. I haven’t owned this rig for long, but I know the 4x4 worked a few months ago. I haven’t had any noises, or lights that would have made me think I had a problem. I have read a lot of posts on a lot of sites and I’m more confused now on what could be causing this problem. I’ve tried it on a steep grassy hill on my property in all modes of 4 wheel drive, and it only spins the front wheels. I’ve tried it with traction control off and on. When the front wheels spin, you can feel and hear the brake pedal acting like the anti lock is engaging.
In the short time I’ve had it, I’ve put new brakes and shocks on it, replaced the front left hub/steering knuckle, new front diff mount. I haven’t found anything that looks out of the ordinary while working on it. So I’m looking for some troubleshooting advice. One other thing to mention, I put LED tail/turn bulbs in the back. I only mention this because I read a post somewhere that said they had problems with the traction control after they installed LED bulbs. I can’t believe this would cause this issue, but I’m certainly not an expert on it. I went ahead and ordered the load resistors for them figuring if nothing else it would fix my fast flash. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome.
Put your truck on Jack Stands level surface (or a lift rack if available), ignition key ON (not RUN) Transfer Case in HiLock, place shifter in D, now try to turn a rear tire by hand, then a front tire, see what happens for each. You can get in, start engine, and carefully put in D with foot on brake, observer watching, see what happens when brake is slowly released. Is a tire in front and back rotating?
Incase you do not know pushing the Traction Control button leaves StabiliTrack ON unless T Case is in Lock, you have to HOLD the TC Button 5-10 seconds to turn off both.
Good luck.

Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully I will get home in time tonight to try this. I’ll let you know what I find.
Ok, I decided to come home and mess with this. It sounded like more fun than working. Off the ground, in D, 4 high lock, key on, front and rear differentials act normal as the spin the other side opposite on the same axle, and when I turn a front wheel forward, it tries to turn the rear wheels the same direction but they only start to turn. The same goes for when I turn a rear wheel, the fronts try to turn the same direction but they are by no means locked together.
I started it, and put it in drive, let off the brake, and all 4 wheels turned the same.
i don’t know if it matters, but this truck does not have the lockers.
