The firing order for the 2007 Hummer H3 with the L5 3.7L engine is indeed 1-3-5-4-2. The order starts from the front of the engine, near the radiator, with cylinder 1 and goes sequentially to cylinder 3, 5, 4, and finally 2. If you're experiencing a misfire in cylinder number 2, it's a good idea to check the spark plug, ignition coil, and fuel injector for that cylinder. Sometimes a misfire can be caused by a faulty component in the ignition or fuel system. Additionally, inspecting the wiring and connections related to the ignition and fuel injector of cylinder 2 can help diagnose the issue. If you're unsure or not comfortable with troubleshooting and repair, it's recommended to consult a professional mechanic who can accurately diagnose and fix the misfire problem for you.

Cylinder order is 1-2-3-4-5, starting at the front of the engine. The FIRING order is 1-3-5-4-2. This is not rocket science, people. If you are getting a misfire code for cylinder 2, it is the SECOND cylinder from the front that is the issue.

I cannot believe that after 16 posts, there is still confusion about the difference between cylinder order and firing order.
