Default 06 with super annoying rattle

I have this loud harmonic sheetmetal rattle sound between 1500 RPM and 2000 RPM. That occurs only while driving I cannot recreate it while parked.

I have searched the forums I have removed
Under carage guards
exhaust manifold heat shield

I have inspected
exhaust system for loose heat covers focusing on the welded cover below the exhaust manifold and the rear welded cover with the band on its other end .
This is driving me nuts I cant seem to figure it out I would appreciate any help

Stock 06 H3
manual transmission
150,000 miles
most of the parts are original to the vechiel all I have replaced is oil, spark plugs, water pump, fuel injectors.

Do you own a rubber mallet? If not, put on some gloves, crawl under and hit the exhaust system with your palm(front to rear). Listen for a rattle.

Hey Hummerz i do have a rubber mallet that was a great suggestion. I worked my way from from to back with little success.

The one thing that i did notice was that the exhaust pipe where the first 02 sensor is and the welded elbow has some slight ability to wiggle like 1/16". I got a slight resonance from that area if i held the pipe i was able to delete that resonance .I put a plumbers clamp around the torsion bar and the exhaust pipe to add a extra level of support and it did not seem to resolve the issue

The other thing i observed is that i need to drive .5 miles for the sound to develop ,my perception of that sound from the drivers seat with the windows down is that the sound is coming from the passenger front area but im unable to determine if its in the engine compartment or under the truck

If it's coming from the engine compartment area, check the manifold(&timing chain cover). I also recommend getting a mechanics stethoscope. Like this---->mechanics-stethoscope just let it idle and listen for a rattle, or prop the accelerator pedal to get to the 1500-2000rpms, and check.

Does this occur while in park or only while driving at this rpm?

Just while driving, and as of now I believe I need to be going 25mph for the rattle to happen.

on my way home today I was driving in a parking lot doing 10 mph and when I got into the 1500rpm range I swear I was hearing a faint "whomp" sound sorta like a light saber from star wars when they move it through the air slowly. Hopefully that makes sence............ I believe the whomp turns into a rattle with speed if that is a thing

Thank you very much
