I have 191k on her the motor was changed at 160k with one that had 75k the transmission is original. Recently the transmission has been acting up only in the morning. It’s only happened both times It was about 20 30 degrees out and I didn’t let her warm up I get to the 1st stop sign about 50 yards from my house and I hit the gas she starts to go and then no noise no grind no movement nothing I take my foot off the gas and put in park then back in drive and she goes. Any opinions do I need a tranny what are my options?

 

Your trans is slipping.

Rebuild or replace More than likely.

 

sounds like the seals have hardened time to have the transmission serviced / rebuilt.

Find a reputable local transmission shop, call them and arrange a visit. The best part is you can add in performance HD aftermarket parts to your rebuild, like a Monster Sunshell etc...

Check your fluid level it might be low on transmission fluid mine was low but I had a leak the gasket went bad, new gasket all is well now, also if engine light is on get that scanned..
