Has anyone removed a headliner off an Sut? I’m putting new fabric on and don’t have a clue on how to get it out of the cab.

 

I'm looking at doing the same thing. I think at a slant out the back.

 

That’s what I was thinking. I’m going to give it a shot tonight and I’ll report back

 

don't crease it as it will show through the new liner.you might have to remove some of your seats to get it out. usually they are put in when the windshield is not installed.

 

What seats do you recommend removing?

 

Might not be able to remove it without damage unless you remove the windshield. The SUV's instructions say to remove through the rear hatch, the SUT's through the windshield opening. Also the sun visors are some of the most aggravating and infuriating things you will ever attempt to remove. See attached.....

 

whatever seat interferes in removal might be all of them so you can try angel it out of one of the rear doors without folding the headliner hopefully you do not also have to remove the center console as well. either way bitch of a job. windshield out or gut the interior.

 

Please let me also. I have some sunroof work i need to do.
