I have been trying to decide If I want an SUV or SUT. Can anyone give me insight on what they have and why they chose it, or why they would rather have the other??? mayb this will help!

 

sut looks cool but great hampers livable space - something to think about, how much to you hall thats going to fit in the small sut opening?

 

Bear in mind that the SUT weighs less... PLUS, personally... I think the SUT's look better and are a BIT more rare on the roads....

 

Yeah it's really gonna come down to what you haul. Both are very nice vehicles, you loose alot of space with the SUT, thus making it rare to see on the road because it just isn't practically... If your going for all out shock and awe value sure go with the SUT, but if you have a family or pets that you need to haul around or anything else, the SUV would be the way to go...

 

I have wagons so I can securely store more gear inside the truck. I like the SUT look though.

 

Well, Its just me and my girlfriend and occasional 3 other family members..(once or twice a year) I am a big outdoors person so Im thinking I wont the sut because I go on the beach alot and I would rather throw my wet surf gear in the bed. But I do alot of traveling so I will haul suitcases and such. So is the toneau cover for the SUT water tight? Since the SUT is lighter it probably does ALOT better in loose sand.

 

I don't haul anything but shopping bags and groceries so I need the interior space and went with the SUV - I like the extra weight with our winters too. Last time we got dumped with 14" I was about the only one who made it to work. When I have my little girl with me I like knowing we won't be stuck in 20" when it's -50 out. Sand is much different than snow tho...

 

If you haul people the SUV is more comfortable. If you haul cargo then SUT is the way. Pretty simple if you want a practical answer. Really...which do you like best?
