Default Wire use?

Anyone know what the purple wire/connector coming out from the Fuse Box goes to?

Looks AM to me. You can trace it, or cut it and see what happens.

Perhaps, but there arent any aftermarket items on the vehicle except PO changed out the wheels for some AM wheels (one of the reasons we purchased this one, neither PO's "personalized" it with add ons). The plastic wire protector was coming out of that area before the dealer replaced the entire fuse block with a new GM product. Now that wire/connector are more apparent than just seeing the plastic protector. Just thought someone may be familiar with it before I go pulling the shroud off to see why the dealership didn't ensure it was put back and attached properly.

OEM wiring is solid color or with a straight line tracer(different color stripe on the wire). That wire appears to have a spiral tracer(purple with black) and also appears damaged/separated internally.
OEM wiring with tracers:

Gotcha. I will be finding the solution sometime in the next week or so when I pull the cover.

Just trace where the wire goes. Could be for a tracking device?
