Default Whats the best front hub to use

Hello new here. I just bought a 2006 H2 SUT with 60 something thousand miles and the dealer said 1 of my hubs was alittle loose they wanted 514.00 plus install labor. I said no thank you way to high. I was wondering what is the best, or something just like OEM or a good place top get a set of OEM Hubs for a fair price. The dealer said to be carefull of the cheap ones because they have smaller bearings and will wear out quickly. I have been reading on this site to learn as much as possible about the H2 and just ordered today the external trans cooler to bypass the one in the radiator, dont want to trash a great running tranny,.I am also planning on having the thing in the tranny changed to give firmer shifts.(cant think of the name now) Any other upgrades that are vital to the health/runability of the rig. Thanks again

Timken or AC Delco for the hub. Your dealer is correct about the cheap ones being junk. Congrats on the new rig. Sounds like you found a nice low mileage truck.

Timken has always been the go to over the years. I am actually replacing my driver hub this morning since my Timken and socket arrived yesterday from Amazon. It's not a difficult project by any means if you have an impact gun.

36mm impact is what I ordered

Apparently it is also recommended to replace the axle nut as well and since I'm going that far I am replacing the O-ring since I'll be right there. Mine looks fine but for $5 why not just replace the thing?
